Thanksgiving ride needed to Milwaukee

Can anyone help? The ride my son planned on is no longer available. He’s looking for a ride to the Milwaukee area, and back to Houghton. He can leave any time after 5 PM Thursday. We’d be happy to drive to Green Bay or Madison if needed, or would meet a Chicago area driver as they came through Milwaukee.

Hi All, My son has waited until today to let me know he doesnot have a ride home for Friday. And siblings have a big concert that night and Dad will be traveling.

If anyone knows of a ride to TriCity area or even across the bridge I would be happy to meet and pick him up. Of course will help with gas.

He’s a tuba in the pep band (might know him) and has class until 2pm on Friday. Thank you for any leads!!!

Thanksgiving Transportation – Downstate? A2?

So, I hoped my child would be able to arrange transportation for himself for Thanksgiving. I mean, that is what we are supposed to do to help them become their own adults. Yes, he has a ride, but they aren’t leaving until 4pm on Friday and I am expected to pick him up in Flint. Ok – so that means he should get there around 12:30 am or 1 am. Ew. I am not an MORNING person or a late night person – whatever you want to calll it. His last class ends at Noon on Friday. “Do you think you might be able to find another ride home?” “I guess I’ll try.” “I posted on a ride board and sent one email but haven’t heard back.” HELP!! I really don’t want to be a helicopter parent but I also don’t want to be out on the roads in the wee hours of the morning. Anyone got a kid with space in their vehicle – leaving after noon on Friday – heading towards Ann Arbor? Lansing? anywhere downstate????

MTU 2009 Homecoming photos

I have uploaded several photos from the MTU homecoming. Most of them were of the Pep Band. In the section ‘2009′ there are two albums. Some photos were just uploaded and in the second are all the photos I edited and posted. Hope any of you parents who were not able to attend or take pictures of your own find at least a picture or two of your child.

My daughter wants to come home this weekend, and really doesn’t want to make the drive herself. If your son or daughter needs a ride downstate this weekend please call her and she will try to work something out. She can afford to be flexible on dates time and gas money if necessary. 248-910-8161
